The recruitment drive offers opportunities in the following positions:

A. Public Prosecutor (26 Posts):

• Educational Qualification: A graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and a minimum of 8 years of practice as an Advocate, including practice before the High Court on the criminal side.
• Scale of Pay: Pay Band – 65000-112000 + Grade Pay 18500 + 30% Special Allowance.

B. Special Public Prosecutor (3 Posts):

• Educational Qualification: A graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and a minimum of 7 years of practice as an Advocate, including practice before the High Court in criminal cases.
• Scale of Pay: Pay Band- 30,000 – 1,10,000 + Grade Pay 17500 + 30% Special Allowance.

C. Additional Public Prosecutor (88 Posts):

• Educational Qualification: A graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and a minimum of 7 years of practice as an Advocate, including practice before the High Court on the criminal side.
• Scale of Pay: Pay Band- 30,000 – 1,10,000 + Grade Pay 17500 + 30% Special Allowance.

D. Assistant Public Prosecutor (185 Posts):

• Educational Qualification: A graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and a minimum of 7 years of practice as an Advocate, including practice before the High Court on the criminal side.
• Scale of Pay: Pay Band- 30,000-1,10,000 + Grade Pay 16900 + 30% Special Allowance.

Home & Political Department Recruitment: Age Limit

Applicants should be between 21 and 38 years of age as of 01/01/2023. However, age relaxation is applicable for specific categories, such as SC/ST candidates, OBC/MOBC candidates, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen.

Home & Political Department Recruitment :Application Fee

The application fee varies based on your category:

• General candidates: Rs. 300/-
• SC/ST/OBC/MOBC candidates: Rs. 200/-
• BPL candidates: Rs. 50/-
