The Department of Skill, Employment, and Entrepreneurship, Assam, has digitized the process of preparing the Employment Exchange Registration Certificate from various employment exchanges in Assam. This certificate is essential for individuals seeking government jobs in Assam. The Assam government, under the leadership of Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, has taken bold steps to simplify this process. The online registration, available for all residents of Assam above the age of 14, can be completed through the official portal of Sewa Setu.

Online Application Process

Applicants can initiate the process by visiting the official portal of Sewa Setu. There are two verification methods available: AADHAAR Based Verification and Non-AADHAAR Based Verification.

AADHAAR Based Verification

For AADHAAR Based Verification, applicants with a valid AADHAAR card can complete the registration process entirely online. After providing necessary details and uploading required documents, the Employment Exchange Registration e-certificate can be downloaded directly from the portal.

Non-AADHAAR Based Verification

For Non-AADHAAR Based Verification, applicants need to visit the selected employment office on the scheduled date and time for document verification. Following successful verification, the Employment Registration Certificate will be issued.
